Meet the McKatims family
McKatims Built is a family-run carpentry and small renovation company combining thoughtful craftsmanship with intentional design to create homes that are as functional as they are beautiful.
From custom and finish carpentry to renovations, repairs, and one-of-a-kind projects, we believe good work should be carefully planned, beautifully executed, and built to last.
We Make (and Keep) the Good Stuff
We have a soft spot for old houses—and for the details and character that make a home feel like itself.
We believe renovation doesn’t have to mean starting over. When something is worth saving, we’d rather work with it: preserving original details, reusing quality materials, incorporating architectural salvage, and finding thoughtful ways to make old spaces work for the way you live now.
And when something new is needed, we build it with the same philosophy: make it well, make it intentional, and make it feel like it belongs.
Ready to get started?
From small repairs to custom carpentry and thoughtful renovations, we approach every project with the same goal: make it well, make it intentional, and make it feel like it belongs.
Have something in mind or a problem you’re not quite sure how to solve? We’d love to hear about it.
